How to order


We have worked hard to find new ways to bring John Dory’s to you whilst keeping our customers and staff safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. Here is all you need to know about how to get your John Dory’s.


By phone


  • Call our order line 02896 209420 and select the John Dory’s location you require.
  • Let us know if you would like to order for collection or delivery
  • If you would like to pre-order, we can take orders up to 7 days in advance, just let us know your preferred date and time and we’ll get in touch to confirm.
  • Provide details of your food order including any dietary requirements or allergies, name and phone number. If you require delivery please also include your address and any delivery notes.
  • We’ll review the order and be in touch to take payment and confirm details.

Online - for delivery


  • Place your order online by visiting the “order online” link in the top navigation or by using the John Dory’s app
  • Select Order for Delivery and check if your address is within our new, extended delivery area.
  • If your address is in our delivery radius, proceed with your order and complete the payment online.
  • We will call you if we have any queries with your order or how to find you or, if for some reason we need to amend your delivery slot.
  • Our delivery driver will deliver your food to your door, ring your bell or call the number provided to alert you of your food’s arrival.
  • There is no need for you to have any unnecessary contact with anyone as part of this process.

Online - for collection


  • Place your order online by visiting the “order online” link in the top navigation or by using the John Dory’s app
  • Select Order for Collection and select the John Dory’s location you require.
  • Proceed with your order and complete the payment online, including a phone number for us to call you if we have any queries with your order or, if for some reason we need to amend your preferred collection time.
  • When coming to pick up your order, please arrive at the time allocated in your order confirmation.
  • Please come into the shop, observing social distancing and use the lane for “Collection”
  • Go to the till and give the name and time of the collection to the till operator and they will confirm your order details.
  • If your order is ready you will receive your collection there and then, if it is still being processed you will be given an updated time.
  • Don't forget to pick up your drinks!Then simply take your John Dory’s home and enjoy!
